Purpose and Status of the Site

This is a private reference website, not a department of Clark County or the State of Illinois. It does not possess the government records discussed in its guides and cannot confirm that a person is in custody, authorize a release, change an official entry, or file a document with an agency or court.

The site points readers toward resources maintained by the Clark County Sheriff and Jail, municipal police, Illinois VINELink, the Illinois Department of Corrections, courts, and other providers. It may also connect visitors with outside research tools. Those references do not make the site the custodian of any resulting record.

Acceptable Use Requirements
